Last week Paul Andrew went to the doctor for his 4th month visit. He is now weighing 15lbs 3 oz and is 26 3/4 inches long. Sunday he starting eating solids. He loves his applesauce. Paul Andrew is a very happy baby constantly smiling and laughing. He is very aware of his surroundings always looking around and checking people out. He is getting stronger on his belly but still hasn't flipped over.

On May 31, Paul Andrew was baptized at St. Thomas the Apostle by Father Kubala. His Godparents are my sister Cristina and Paul's brother Daniel. We celebrated his baptism with a lunch at Trattoria Luna. The food was delicious and we had a great time seeing all of our family and friends

On March 8, Paul Andrew turned one month old. Boy is he growing! He now weighs in at 10 lbs and is 22 inches long. Unfortunately for us, he is still not sleeping through the night. He feeds every 3 hours. We are pretty exhausted. Paul Andrew is very alert. He is able to track movement and voices and we think he smiles also (you know what people say though, at this young age its just gas).

On February 11, Paul Andrew Csonka was born at South Miami Hospital at 6:12pm. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 19.5 inches long. We spent 2 days at the hospital and are now enjoying our time with both of our babies. It is exhausting but with all the help we have it is getting easier. Check out the Gallery for pictures.

Finally, on April 30, at around 10:11 PM, Alexa let mommy know that she wanted out. It took about a day, and on May 1st at 8:15 PM she arrived. Healthy and loud, she was 20 1/2 inches long and 8 pounds, 12 ounces. Quite a chunker. Abuelo Arturo, Tia Katie, and Daddy helped mommy during the final pushes. Poor mommy was extremely exhausted after about 22 hours of labor, and needed an extra day at the hospital. We arrived home on May 4 and gave Alexa the tour of her pink room. Daddy and Mommy have never known this level of exhaustion before, but are doing well with the help of the family (thanks again).

Yesterday, April 28, was Alexa's due date and still no Alexa. I guess she is going to keep us waiting a bit longer. The "eggpecting" Alexa calendar is out of chocolate eggs. I miss my daily chocolate. Both the Csonka and Armand households have pools going as to when she is going to be born. Lets see who guesses right.
We have our next doctors appointment on Monday. Hopefully, Alexa will be born by then and we can skip on that doctors appointment. She has been moving around less because she is running out of room but when she does move its pretty forceful. I think I may have had a few contractions, but they are still very irregular and not real painful.

I am now 39 weeks pregnant. So far Alexa does not want to come out yet. My stomach though has dropped and she is in positon. We went in for a sonogram last Wednesday and were told that she weighed about 7 pounds 10 ounces. Hopefully we will have some more news soon. We can't wait until she is born.

We have had some very busy weekends lately. On the weekend of February 25, I had Martica's baby shower at Venetian pool. Paul, on the other hand, was busy fixing the tiles on the roof.
The following weekend was my baby shower. I had a very good time. It was at my mom's house . My family worked very hard getting the food and decorations ready. Thank you, everything looked beautiful and tasted delicious. We also had most of the Csonka family over except for Daniel. Daniel, we missed you. David came over on Friday with his girlfriend Lori to take a cruise. Paul took them to the port on Friday afternoon. On Monday morning Paul and I picked them up and the four of us went out to breakfast. Tina and Gene came over on Saturday morning for the baby shower. Tina came with me to the shower while Paul and Gene did some work on the house (pressure cleaning the roof and gardening).
This weekend has been more or less the same. My mom and I worked some more on Alexa's room. It is just about complete and Paul has been out working on the yard most of the weekend.
Here are some Alexa updates... I am 33 weeks pregnant. She is still moving around a lot and her kicks are getting much stronger. We had a sonogram done on Thursday and she put on quite a show. She was moving around, sucking her thumb, and it even looked like she was yawning.

We are pleased to announce that we are having a girl!!! It was Paul's plan all along to say it would be a boy, so that he could really have a girl!
